Bra strap hack

If you have just splashed out on a gorgeous open shoulder dress, one thing you definitely don’t want is the straps of your bra being visible! Well, you don’t need to spend even more on a strapless one, because you can hide them by pulling the two straps together above your chest and holding them there using a paperclip - keeping your straps under wraps!

Save by shaving your sweaters

You can easily make a sweater you have had for ages look newly bought by putting a razor to work on it. Ideally use one that is designed for getting rid of facial hair and shave away the fuzzy bits that build up on sweaters the more you have to wash them. Apply a gentle touch when you are giving them a shave though, unless you want a jumper full of holes – just imagine you are shaving somewhere sensitive!

Keep your jeans lean and mean

Wearing non-skinny jeans with knee-high boots can lead to them getting bunched up and making you look like you’ve got chubby legs, but there is a way of avoiding this. You can hack that skinny look by putting on a pair of socks over the jeans. They will be hidden by your boots but will keep the denim looking slimline and ensure you don’t look like you’re walking around wearing jodhpurs!

Turn your closet into a Tardis

Who doesn’t wish they had more closet space? You might not be able to fit a bigger one in your bedroom, but you can maximise the existing space. Just slip a ring pull onto each hanger via the hook and then put a second hanger through the hole in it so you have one beneath the other for your clothes and can buy as many new tops as you want!

How to not get knotted

Having to spend ages untangling the knots in your necklaces before a night out is the worst way to get in the mood to party, but if you undo the chain and thread them through plastic drinking straws when you take them off it will stop them from getting tangled up. This will save you from getting tense and tetchy before you head out on the town!

These are simply a few of the fabulous fashion life hacks that can save you time and money, while making sure that you always look your best. Why not give some of them a try for yourself and see.
