Customs House treated Brisbane’s elite to an iconic evening as they flaunted a taste of what they can do for any wedding. Their annual wedding showcase, titled, ‘The One’, highlighted the styling, design, bridal and suit trends for 2018.
Champagne and delectable canapés were served in the courtyard as the Story Bridge provided the perfect backdrop as guests mingled before the formalities began.
A magical fashion event opened the evening as couture bridal gowns by George Wu and Darb Bridal glided down the runway. While Wil Valor dressed social media influencers Taylor Fielding and Matt Joudo, the ‘faces’ of the evening, in bespoke suits.

Soon after, the evening gracefully progressed into a sit-down dinner inside Customs House where guests were treated to a visual feast of luxury, beauty and elegant extravagance.
The room was decorated in muted jewel tones of plum, soft greys and champagne with brushes of gold that enhanced the romantic setting.
Customs House hand selected the reputable vendors whom they collaborated with to show happy couples what their dream wedding could look like when brought to life.

“We wanted to showcase style and sophistication so that all our prospective couples could see the future of weddings for 2018 and beyond,” says Customs House Director, Brian Roberts.
The masterminds to the overall look and feel of the event were curated by talents Athena Amarandos from Celebrating in Style and Geraldine Hore from Bouquet Boutique.
And to make for an unforgettable evening, award winning photographer Marcus Bell from Studio Impressions captured all the mesmerising moments.
